很多工具都可用于编辑wiki。 Most of these take the form of scripts, they may be JavaScript intended to be added to a user or site common.js to modify the behavior of the MediaWiki software in a browser, or they may be scripts in an interpretive programming language such as Python, PHP, or Perl, intended to be run on a users computer and to assist in editing a MediaWiki wiki. The latter may include bots.
