InitialiseSettings.php is a file used by some wiki farms, including Wikimedia's.

On Wikimedia's set up, this file is used to initialize the majority of the per-wiki settings. If one wishes to use it, the following code should be used in LocalSettings.php:

require_once "$IP/InitialiseSettings.php";
