Help:Contents export
From Linux Web Expert
This page contains some suggestion on how to transfer content from one wiki to another.
XML Import/Export
The easiest way to transfer content (including property/value declarations) is by using MW's XML Import/Export page.
It is recommended that:
- Pages that contain administrative content (import vocabulary declaration, allows pattern declaration etc.) should be listed first
- Category and property pages (Category/Property:...) should follow administrative content (this ensures that property declarations are created before any other page during the import)
- Templates should be listed before normal content pages
Example
MediaWiki:Smw_import_foaf MediaWiki:Smw_import_dc Property:Has_description Property:Has_average_rainy_days Category:Foaf Category:Lorem_ipsum Template:Welcome Berlin London
