Help:Links/example

From Linux Web Expert

An example demonstrating how to use Help:Links in a namespace that supports subpages.

Templates:

  • {{FULLPAGENAME}} displays the full name of the current page. For example: Help:Links/example.
  • {{PAGENAME}} displays the partial name of the current page. For example: Links/example.
  • {{SUBPAGENAME}} displays the name of the subpage, if available. For example: Links/example.
  • {{BASEPAGENAME}} displays the name of the base page. For example: Links/example.

See also Help:Subpages.

Subpage Navigation:

  • [[../]] displays the parent page of a subpage. For example: [[../]].
  • [[../example]] displays the "example" subpage of a parent page if it exists. For example: [[../example]].
  • [[../example2]] displays the "example2" subpage of a parent page if it exists. For example: [[../example2]].
  • [[/example2]] displays the "example2" subpage of a current page if it exists. For example: /example2.

Subpage Tag:

{{/example2}} is a placeholder for the "example2" subpage of a current page if it exists. It uses the template feature to embed or transclude the subpage into the current page.

For example:

Template:/example2

Dynamic Link:

{{fullurl:{{NAMESPACE}}:{{BASEPAGENAME}}/example2}} generates a dynamic URL for an "example2" subpage if it exists.

For example: https://www.linuxwebexpert.com/Help:Links/example/example2
